Horse gives birth to rare foal – you won’t believe the markings on her face

Scott and Jackie Nelson, horse breeders in Melbourne, Florida, were in awe when Coconut, their newborn horse, revealed her extraordinary features. The couple, who run Down Under Colour ranch, captured Coconut’s uniqueness on video, and the footage has since garnered over 3 million views. Coconut’s markings, known as a War Horse pattern, are exceptionally rare.

In Native American tradition, a War Horse with a shield on its chest and one blue eye, termed a Sky Eye, was considered sacred and ridden by leaders. The blue eye symbolized carrying spirits to the Gods if the leader perished in battle. The Nelsons describe Coconut as “soooo special” due to her remarkable features, creating an internet sensation.
